Mathias is a cautious and calm elf, and a friend to the animals. He milks the cows early in the morning and brings out the fresh milk to the other elves, hoping he might meet Sofie Skylark on the way so he can give her a big kiss!
Sofie Skylark is a little charmer; she can imitate birdsong beautifully and is sweet enough to make sure that the birds of the forest get fed in the winter.
